There is no lack of top five, top ten, top whatever lists…these days. When making any list or selection, the process is influenced by many factors. I’ve picked a few images, 100 to be exact that were notable to me in some way during the past year. In retrospect, my photography seemed minimized in diversity in 2010, but nevertheless was filled with many great experiences. Here is a little gallery for your enjoyment.

That’s a great set Patrick. Love the clouds.
That is a wonderful collection of images Patrick – you had another very productive year!
Beautiful Images Patrick.
Thanks for sharing these images! I can’t stop raving about #78 (and really, all of the images you took on that aerial excursion)! Your Canning River trip also returned a lot of beautiful images. Keep it up!
Beautiful images! Looks like a great year to look back on.
I’m glad I finally got a chance to see your site Pat. Your passion for what you do and your skill at doing it is evident and enviable. Thanks for your advice and friendship.
Jeff
Hey folks, thanks for your comments, and all the others who tweeted and emailed and expressed your favorites in the group. Dennis, I’m fond of the clouds too and will do a large gallery of that subject in 2011.
Great work Patrick. A good year indeed. But where’s the Antarctica stuff? 🙂
Hi Mark,
I kept the 100 to “Alaska” although I spaced out making that more clear. I’ll be following up with some favs from other travel destinations in the early new year.
What a great selection of images! You could make a great coffee table album choosing from just these. Just like Mark, I too want to see some more Antarctica images so I’ll look forward to those in the new year…
Thanks Phil, pretty amazing how the mind can recall every sensory experience when reviewing a picture. I’ll have some non-alaska stuff soon.
What breathtaking images. Thank you for sharing. Have a Happy New Year.
Betty, Thanks for visiting and sharing your comments
Patrick,
Looks like you had a very good and exciting year. Good for you! Life is good. Just think of what next year has to offer!
Happy New Year!
Jim
Patrick,
I should have added that it’s hard to believe that a year ago we were on the Polar Star, just starting our southern adventure. I’m actually considering returning notwithstanding my bouts with sea-sickness. A very different new year celebration this year.
And in case he sees this, hi Phil.
Patrick–I just spent an enjoyable hour and a half going through these. The pics of the brown bear at Sable Pass may be the most intimate I’ve ever seen. Thank you. Pat
Jim, Happy new year back to you, I’m excited for opportunities in 2011.
Mark, I’m happy to be in AK this January, but dreaming of the southern ocean.
Pat, Thanks for browsing. That bear encounter was fleeting but she offered a few glances my way during a frenzy of feeding on blueberries.
Patrick,
How about a top 100 list of pics selected from the photo admirers visting your site? Hmmm. The aerials of the brooks range are wild indeed.
Amazing selection, Pat. Makes me feel that I have to get out more! The wolf/moose calf series are among my favorites but there are many. Here’s to a productive 2011!
Steve,
I’m always curious about the pictures that others find most interesting. Implementing that into a site ???
Milo,
Thanks, I think I need to get out more too! Cheers back to a fulfilling 2011 for you. Hope to see you in the field somewhere again.
I don’t even know what to say, but I knew I had to say something. I’m stunned. Fantastic work, don’t stop for any reason.
Wow! I really enjoy your wolf shots! There are quite a few amazing ones in there to be sure!
I am always a sucker for great mountain and lake scenics as well and you have amazing ones! I guess I will need to follow my resolution to get up to Alaska this year!
Tom and Chris, thanks guys for visiting and commenting.
Fantastic stuff! I really need to get to Alaska!
Thanks Pat,
And yes, you do need to get to Alaska!
