What is a lightbox?

• A personalized place for you to store and manage photo selections.
• Add/Remove photos to/from your Lightbox by clicking the "Lighbox / Lightbox" link.
• To SAVE your Lightbox for future visits click on "MY LIGHTBOX" at the top right. Then click "save lightbox", Enter an email address and a password. In future visits, login and view My Lightbox to see your selections. Cookies must be enabled on your computer.
• Unsaved lightboxes automatically clear weekly.
• Lightbox Utilities allow you to:
  • Email your lightbox to us or a friend
  • Print your lightbox
  • Save your lightbox for future visits
  • Rename lightbox
  • Add additional lightboxes

How much do licensed photos cost?

• We use industry standard pricing indexes to determine fees
• Prices based on type of usage. For example:
  • commercial versus editorial
  • geographical distribution (U.S. versus World)
  • print run (number of copies)
  • size of image (1/4 page, full page, etc.)
  • location of the image (interior, cover etc.)

Pricing to license photo for commercial use

• Click thumbnail photo, follow link for "price stock photo use" and fill out the form.

• We will email or call you back to discuss the terms and if necessary method of shipment. We promptly reply to requests during office hours (7am to 5pm Alaska Standard Time)

Yes, we deliver photos in digital format

• Via email or ftp, hi-res compressed jpgs or .tif files
• tiffs available on cd
• In-house 35mm scan size: 55 megs - approximately 11” x 17” at 300dpi (We take great care in our scanning process. All images are adjusted for global color tone and balance prior to scanning, as well as local adjustments performed in photoshop. We do not over sharpen our scans.
• Select hi-res scans of 2-1/4 transparencies

How do I order a photographic print?

• Click on photo thumbnail photo, follow link to "Buy Fine Art Print".
• Select size from menu
• Click add to order and proceed to checkout
• Prints ship via fed-ex two day, insured, within two days of order.

We offer photo research assistance

• Contact us and we will search our files for you
• We have thousands of images in our collection and at this time they are not all accessible on line.

Artist reference & rendering licensing

• Artist reference: This means that an artist uses the photograph for details or portions of the photo but the original photography is not recognizable in the artwork.
• Artist rendering: This is when the photograph is nearly or completely copied in the final artwork, and the photograph is recognizable
• Prices range from $100 to $400 dollars depending on the use, call us to discuss your interest (907) 479-9196.
