Aurora borealis photo galleryThe Aurora borealis have captivated the night sky viewer for ages. The central and northern latitudes of Alaska are well situated for maximum aurora borealis viewing, and I've photographed them from my driveway in Fairbanks, and even off the front deck of my house. Surprisingly, they are not that difficult to photograph, but do require a sturdy tripod and a few other considerations: I've written an article on how to photograph the aurora borealis. All images are available to license as stock photography and may be purchased as art decor prints for home or office. Read additional information on the aurora here.
