About our Files

All images are immediately available as professionally prepared, high resolution, press-ready digital files which can be purchased through the website or made available for download to meet tight publication deadlines.

Film Scans: In-house 35mm scan size: 60 megabytes - approximately 12" x 18" at 300dpi.
Digital files: We shoot digital images in RAW format.
Panoramas: Either film or digitally sourced, these are very large files ranging up to 700 megabytes in size.
If a crop has been applied the specific image size is noted in the mouse over preview.

About File Sizes

File size does not represent maximum publication size. Film or digital camera type, environmental conditions, subject matter and end use all determine this. Many of our files have been published as posters and even billboards and they look razor sharp despite coming from a 12x18" file at 300DPI. Please contact us for details about a specific file if publication size will be extremely large.
